The Guardians of Jade Mountain

This VR experience is based on the true story of the unlikely friendship between Chief Aliman of the Bunun (an Indigenous Taiwanese clan) and Japanese anthropologist Ushinosuke Mori during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan. Inspired by traditional Taiwanese shadow theater, Hayoun Kwon leads viewers down the path of these two extraordinary characters, revealing their mutual respect for Jade Mountain and how it forged a bond between them.
