Kira Herff

Kira is a founding member of Respect Science e.V., an organization promoting better incentive structures in academia. She studied Physics and Philosophy at the University of Göttingen and completed a Master’s in Management & Data Science at Leuphana University Lüneburg. Her theses were conducted at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization and in cooperation with the Hamburg Institute for Social Research. She now works as an IT project manager and freelance moderator.

Marie Eickhoff

Marie Eickhoff studied science journalism at TU Dortmund – equally at home with lab goggles and pipettes as she was in lively lecture discussions. She gained her first media experience at the university radio station, followed by a traineeship at WDR in Cologne. Today, she works as a freelance journalist, including for WDR.
