Thomas ‘Eichi’ Eichstätt trains a football team of mainly refugees. While they struggle with acceptance and their past, Eichi also looks back on a dark time as a right-wing extremist.
I'd like to see is a progression and action in tackling racism in rural areas and support for migrants living in these areas.

Between our Backyards captures the fight against lithium mining in Chile and Serbia, as communities unite globally to protect their land, culture, and livelihoods from corporate exploitation.
We want to support local communities in their fight against big mining companies.

In an isolated valley of Zanskar, far from the clichés about global warming, the locals ingeniously combat the melting of their glacier with an ancestral practice that directly addresses the climate emergency.
I am aiming to promote traditional knowledge and advocate for policy changes to protect vulnerable mountain regions.

Sisterqueens accompanies Jamila (9), Rachel (11) and Faseeha (12) as very young rappers in Berlin for over 4 years. Striving for a just world, they rap about social injustice, self-determination, redefine feminism verse by verse and raise questions about identity, the police and artistic creation.
We are looking for partners who want to fight for gender equality within politics, the music and cinema scene and in youth work.

Korntal - a little town in south of Germany, is the scene of the greatest abuse scandal ever to rock the Protestant Church. An estimated 150 former children from homes run by the Pietist Brotherhood have broken their silence.
We aim to raise awareness of the issue of abuse and how to deal with those affected by sexualized violence.

Raising children layer by layer: Between parental love, bureaucracy and youth welfare offices, three foster carers do everything they can to give children a temporary home.
We want to strengthen society's appreciation of the huge task of fostering and at the same time break down the concept of family.
Our goals:
To increase the visibility and recognition of foster carers.
to counter stigmatisation and increase equal opportunities for children growing up outside their parents' home to discuss the role and definition of the (nuclear) family in our society to generate enthusiasm for the profession and contribute to increasing the number of applicants for training and jobs.
To emphasise the need for residential child and youth care as an integral part of education and the possibility of lateral entry into the profession.
