250 Komponistinnen
Arno Lücker / German / 2023 / 648 Pages
Why do we hear so little about female composers? 250 Composers ventures an answer. Arno Lücker tells the stories of 250 musicians, whom he has gathered together from all over the world and across the centuries. He shows how women have asserted themselves in the face of opposition to create impressive works. This book is an invitation to rediscover the history of classical music and celebrate the diversity of female voices.
